Bookkeeper / Payroll Clerk (Part-time and Full-time)

We currently have opportunities in our expanding Business Services departments.

We are looking for candidates who have 3 or more years experience within public practice and have attained appropriate Accounting Qualifications such as AAT, ACCA or ACA. 

Successful candidates will be motivated individuals, have fantastic interpersonal skills and excellent IT skills including a good knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks Online or Xero and Sage Payroll.

The candidates will be organised, able to work to tight deadlines as part of the team or on their own initiative and have a desire to work within the accountancy profession for an expanding and progressive practice.

What is the Role?

A varied role involving processing weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls, dealing with Payroll Queries, bookkeeping for a range of clients on a range of software, building client relationships by telephone, email and in person, dealing with ad-hoc queries and correspondence, completing quarterly VAT returns, and other ad-hoc forms and much more.
